How do I reduce how much Energy I use?

There are a few ways to reduce Energy consumption:

Choose a more efficient AI model Go to Chat Settings > Custom to browse available models. Models with fewer Energy bolts consume less Energy. In the mobile app, you can tap the Energy bolts to see exact input and output costs.

Lower the Thinking Effort If you're using Thinking or Custom mode, reducing the Thinking Effort from Deep to Standard or Quick will use less Energy. Learn more about Thinking Effort.

Keep messages concise Shorter inputs and outputs use less Energy, so being direct with your questions can help.
